Chalkhead Baptist Church

The Adult Bible study classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m.

We are currently using the LifeWay curriculum as a guide to our studies.  Each student receives a quarterly periodical to help them prepare for the next week’s study.

The classes are age graded by gender, except for College and a new Couples Class which are Co-ed.

Adult Bible Study (Sunday School)

Men’s Classes:

College - ages 18-25

Men 2 - ages 26-40

Men 3 - ages 41-51

Men 4 - ages 52-62

Men 5 - ages 62-70

Man 6 - ages 71-up

Women’s Classes:

College -  ages 18-25

Ladies 2 - ages 26-40

Ladies 3 - ages 41-51

Ladies 4 - ages 52-62

Ladies 5 - ages 62-70

Ladies 6 - ages 71-up

The preaching ministry of Chalkhead is carried out primarily by our Pastor, Tommy West.   Through expository preaching, the Bible is taught with its relevant truths applied to our daily living. 

We have a very strong conviction that the Word of God is the truth of God and should not be compromised.  So we preach the  strong Gospel.  However, we do not  believe that God is boring, so the presentation of the Word of God should not be. Therefore, we often experience very creative presentations of the Word of God.  At Chalkhead our catch phrase is "something a little different."     It is our Pastor’s conviction that though reverence is of utmost importance, church should not be dull.
