Pastor West most affectionately known as "Preecher," has been Pastor of Chalkhead since July 23, 1999. 

"I was born into my relationship with Jesus Christ at age seven.  I was called to preach at the age of 14.  I am convinced that the  Word of God changes lives. "

Preaching Style: Primarily Expository (ie. verse by verse teaching/preaching of the Scriptures), with creative ways to illustrate and make application to one's daily life.

Catch Phrase: "Today we are going to do something a little bit different."

Worship / Students Pastor    Charlie Windham

“The New Guy” Started here January of 2007.

 

“I was saved at an early age but it wasn’t until my early teens that I realized that salvation was about a relationship with Christ. I was called into the ministry at 17 as a minister of music. I realized that music is a great way to reach people for Christ and my favorite way to worship God. Later on I saw a great need for our youth of today to be ministered to. I believe that the youth are not only the church of tomorrow they are the church of today! Their generation will be the Sold Out Generation that will take God’s people to the next level.”

 

Praise and worship: We have a blended worship service from the gospel classics to the contemporary styles of today.

 

Youth: Leading by example and dealing with the issues that we face each day. Through discussion we find out what God’s Word says and live it.

 

Catch phrases: You may be the only Jesus people see.

Office Administration                    Jeanette Coaker

Mrs. Coaker has been Secretary at Chalkhead since June 1984.  What a blessing she is to all of us.

"I appreciate the confidence the church has placed in me all these years.  Being Church Secretary is just one way I can serve my Lord and Savior, and I truly believe He placed me in this position. I have enjoyed working with all the church staff and its members They have been a blessing to me over the years, and I pray that I have been a blessing to them.
